Debuilt was retained by Coles Group Property Developments Limited to assist with a multifaceted development & divestment programme for Richmond Plaza Shopping Centre. The project required an ability to skilfully navigate a variety of complex processes including town planning, tendering, value-engineering, feasibility analysis, cost control and general development management. These responsibilities were discharged with both diligence and professionalism resulting in the largest real estate transaction by dollar value for a single asset ever undertaken by Coles.

I first contacted Daniel through the Debuilt website with an enquiry about his experience with MediHotels. This resulted in Daniel assisting me as the development manager for a new hotel project in Hobart.

It was a complex project which included the negotiation with Council over the acquisition of council land and the inclusion of a public thoroughfare. Debuilt also negotiated our hotel management agreement and our building contracts.

Debuilt’s assistance in preparing the finance information memorandum was critical in assisting me obtain construction funding from a major Australian bank, on favourable terms, for my hotel development in Tasmania.
